Snow Day Toy Drive
Hello! During the winter months, kids with long term illnesses such as cancer spend many days in the hospital. After the Christmas season the donations for toys begin to diminish. We are asking if you would help brighten the day of a child in need.
We are Lolo’s Angels, Inc. We raise money for pediatric AML research, run blood and bone marrow drives, and do pediatric cancer awareness activities. We have a Jr. Board made up of teenagers from four area high schools. Each member of our Jr. Board is reaching out to their parish and/or their school to partner with us in this event. We were founded when Lauren Hacker, aka Lolo, spent 6 months in the hospital in 2013. On a snow day, her classmates made snow angels outside her hospital window.
We know that long term illnesses are not fought alone. As Lolo’s Angels, Inc, we would like to spread some warmth and cheer this winter by running a toy drive. We will be gathering these toys from now until noon on Sunday, February 26th. We will then bring the toys to Children’s Hospital. We received a WISH LIST from Children’s that has toys that would be most desired. If you can help us by donating one of these items, we would appreciate it.
If weather permits, we will make snow angels in the snow and wave to the kids on the floor before we drop off the toys.
Drop off toys to the following locations on:
Feb 19th and February 26th
