Snow Day Toy Drive

Snow Day Toy Drive

January 21 - February 15th

During the winter months, kids with long term illnesses, such as cancer, spend many days in the hospital. After the Christmas season, donations for toys begin to diminish. We are asking if you would help brighten the day of a child in need by donating new, unwrapped toys by February 15th. Toys will benefit the childhood cancer patients at Children’s Hospital & Medical Center and the Rainbow House. Lolo’s Angels would like to note a special interest in satisfying the request for older school aged children and teens since this group receives fewer donations overall.

Target AML - Overview video

AML is one of the poorest prognosis pediatric cancers. Help us accelerate a key research initiative to speed personalized, precision therapies to desperate infants, kids, teens and young adult patients ages 0-35. Over 80% of AML cases are diagnosed in adults over 60, so most research is focused in seniors. But, AML is biologically different in younger patients. The TpAML initiative is the Children's Oncology Group's "highest potential and greatest need" AML research project. The goal is to understand the drivers and vulnerabilities of this devastating leukemia in young people leveraging the power of genomic sequencing. Check out our video, learn more and get involved -- > The Children's Oncology Group is the world's largest organization dedicated to pediatric cancer research > TpAML is a volunteer-run, grassroots effort to inform and encourage collaboration among friends, families and foundations of all sizes, nationwide, to speed this promising discovery work (contact us with questions!)
