Target AML - Overview video
AML is one of the poorest prognosis pediatric cancers. Help us accelerate a key research initiative to speed personalized, precision therapies to desperate infants, kids, teens and young adult patients ages 0-35. Over 80% of AML cases are diagnosed in adults over 60, so most research is focused in seniors. But, AML is biologically different in younger patients. The TpAML initiative is the Children's Oncology Group's "highest potential and greatest need" AML research project. The goal is to understand the drivers and vulnerabilities of this devastating leukemia in young people leveraging the power of genomic sequencing.
